Personal, Social and Emotional Development is the strand about feelings, confidence and getting along with other people. It sounds grand for a toddler, but it is built in tiny moments: tucking a toy in gently, waiting a turn to roll the ball, managing a job all the way to the end. The activities here were chosen for exactly those moments. Many are helper jobs, because being trusted with something real does more for a toddler's confidence than any amount of praise.
