These are the terms for using the Little Wins app and this website. We have tried to write them the way we would say them.
What Little Wins is
A daily plan of play ideas for you and a child roughly between one and three. The activities are suggestions, drawn up with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in mind, to give you something good to do together.
You know your child; we do not. Every activity needs an adult watching. Please use your own judgement about what is safe — particularly anything involving water, small parts, food, or anything that could be swallowed. You stay responsible for supervision at all times.
It is not advice
Little Wins is not medical, developmental or educational advice, and it is not an assessment. References to EYFS areas are there to give you context about what a bit of play is building — nothing in the app measures your child or tells you whether they are where they should be. If you have any concern about your child's development, speak to your health visitor or GP.
Subscriptions
Today's plan is free, always. A subscription unlocks the week ahead, the full activity library and the development view.
Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play, not through us. They renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel them in your Apple or Google account settings — we cannot do it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
The content
The activities, the writing and the illustrations belong to Brass Lantern Studios. They are yours to use with your own family, as much as you like. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute them, or use them in another product.
The honest bit
The app is provided as it is. We work hard on it and we fix what we get told about, but we cannot promise it will be free of every fault, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. Carrying on using the app means the new version applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
