Put Shoes by the Door

What you need

• a small mat or tray by the door
• a few pairs of shoes

How to do it

1. Lay out a small mat by the front door.
2. Show your toddler how to carry a pair of shoes and set them on the mat.
3. Let them gather scattered shoes from around the house and line them up.
4. Praise each pair they place, however scattered the line looks.
