Toddler activities with cups
Cups are for pouring, stacking, hiding things under and knocking over, and a toddler will happily do all four. The activities here use ordinary cups, plastic or paper, on their own or with water, and cover the whole range from a tower to a pouring station. Pouring is one of the best fine motor workouts there is, and stacking teaches balance and a little bit of physics. Everything happens on a tray or a towel so the clean-up is quick. Each activity has full steps, the skills it builds, and an easier or harder version.
