Toddler activities with a bowl
A bowl is the most versatile toy in the house. Fill it, empty it, pour from it, sort into it, turn it upside down and drum on it. The activities here all start with a bowl or two from the cupboard, and most add one other ordinary thing, like a spoon or a handful of pasta. They cover scooping and pouring for the hands, sorting for early maths, and the endless cause-and-effect of tipping something out and putting it back. Steps, skills and switch-ups for each are written out below.
